UPDATE |

Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees has identified the victim of the early morning fatal house fire in the Hornerstown section of Johnstown.

Lees says 32-year-old Alexander Perring suffered thermal and inhalation injuries in the blaze.

Investigators say the fire broke out at the home, located along the 700 block of Pine Street, just before 2 a.m., while crews were responding to another house fire that was just a few blocks away.

Officials say Perring was found in a second floor bedroom and his manner of death is still under investigation.
