HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — A Knights of Columbus meeting hall in Blair County is getting much needed upgrades, thanks to a business.
The Home Depot Foundation awards “team depot” grants for renovation projects in communities throughout the country.
The Knights of Columbus in Hollidaysburg received window replacements Monday for the first time in over a half century.
"It's going to be the energy efficiency, it’s gonna be the aesthetic,” said Home Depot Altoona assistant manager Greg Huber. “Hopefully they have a little bit of pride when they walk up to the building and just kind of give them a nice place to go to in the community."
Huber says the Home Depot in Altoona has acquired over $50,000 in grants for projects in the community over the last year.
