ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) -- Altoona police were dispatched to Popeyes on Plank Road Friday morning for an overnight burglary. The store manager reported at total $300 was stolen from two cash registers in the store and one of those registers was gone, according to court documents.
Police said security cameras captured several suspects entering, one through an unlocked rear door and one through an unlocked lobby door.
Altoona police later learned two of those men, Khiry Cannady and Joshua Gregg had been stopped by Logan Township police the night before with a partially pried open cash register, latex gloves, a hammer and a 22-caliber handgun.

(WJAC) — PETA has requested a federal probe into a Johnstown meat processing company after several violations for inhumane animal practices were cited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. A letter was sent to U.S. Attorney Scott Brady by PETA Monday morning, asking that an investigation be launched into Pudliner Packing. According to the Department of Agriculture, Pudliner Packing was cited three times over the last three years for improperly killing animals as listed in the Humane Methods of Livestock Slaughter Act.

UPDATE | Mifflin County, PA (WJAC) — State police announced late Wednesday that 26-year-old Trevor Middaugh, one of two men charged in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old woman last month, has been taken into custody.
Police say Middaugh is awaiting arraignment.
ORIGINAL | State police in Lewistown announced that an arrest warrant has been issued for a second man charged in the shooting death of a woman last month in Mifflin County.

Bryan Hagerich was held in Turks and Caicos for 101 days after hunting ammo that was accidentally left from a previous trip was found in one of his bags.
He was facing a minimum of 12 years in prison, but was freed from the islands after a judge gave him a suspended sentence and a fine.
Hagerich is now back home in Somerset County with his family.
6 News was able to sit down and talk with Hagerich and his wife Ashley on Thursday.

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A 19-year-old is behind bars after allegedly killing his 3-month-old son, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.

On Friday, deputies responded to Richland Road for a medical emergency. Upon arrival, officials located an unresponsive 3-month-old boy.

Lees says the incident happened just after 11 p.m. Wednesday when police approached the Quality Inn along Route 22 to question 39-year-old Kenneth Kim.
According to Lees, Kim ran into his first-floor hotel room when he saw police.
