Annual PA Maple Festival returns to Somerset Co.

The 74th annual Pennsylvania Maple Festival in Somerset County is back on after it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic.

The event begins Saturday and runs through May 2nd.

Organizers say COVID-19 mitigation efforts will be enforced and will effect some of the activities.

Former Penguins hockey player dies after getting cut in the neck by skate

NOTTINGHAM (WOLF) — Former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Pittsburgh Penguins player, Adam Johnson, died from injuries following a freak accident on Oct. 28, while playing for the Nottingham Panthers in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). Amtran to soon extend hours, route, official confirms

EASTON, Pa. (AP) — A northeastern Pennsylvania jury has convicted a man of first-degree murder and conspiracy in what prosecutors called a revenge slaying more than a decade ago.
