OSHA fines Centre County food plant for safety, health violations

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A Centre County food processing plant has been "heavily fined" by the federal Department of Labor. The Hanover Foods Corporation has a processing plant in Centre Hall and last year, the labor department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration opened an investigation there and has now cited the company with 70 violations. The administration forgave $6.1 billion in student debt for more than 300,000 borrowers from private for-profit system The Art Institutes this week. Charges dismissed against former Westmont music teacher accused of raping student

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Authorities have confirmed to 6 News that charges in one of the two cases against former Westmont Hilltop music teacher Shawn Miller have been dismissed. During a hearing last week, President Judge Norman Krumenacker III ordered that the charges be withdrawn after prosecutors filed a motion to have them dismissed without prejudice.
